Because it's a high-end marker that is now cheap($200). It's already electronic, it's low pressure(greater consistency and good on gas usuage), it has the eye so it can't chop balls. It takes anti-siphon co2, nitogen and compressed air. It's a pretty good marker right out of the box. |

If you have access to HPA and are willing to put a little more money into a gun for a hopper and HPA tank, I'd say go with the Ion. It's a great gun out of the box assuming you have the items mentioned above. Plenty of upgrades for it and it can be used in all types of play.
