So who's got a nice aquarium set up or would consider themselves an enthusiast. Post your set up and what kind of fish you have. Pics are welcome as well.

I've got 2 30 gallon tanks set up right now and I'm getting my 75 gallon tank set up soon. One 30 gallon tank has 3 red belly piranhas and the other has bala sharks (and a few other species). I'll get some pics up here later on today.

Post away.

I would definitely consider myself an enthusiast.

I have a 20oz tank with rocks on the bottom and a plastic plant that floats
on the top. I got it for twelve dollars at Petco; it was on sale.

2 50 gallons, mostly inhabited by chiclids (sp?) and little cleaner fish. All of the other fish got eaten.

Had to get rid of it a few years ago when we moved.

i have a 35 gal tank, but the goldfish had babies....  8 of them

and we had 7, which are monsters, have to be alteast 3 in wide, not long---- they used to be the .50 cent gold fish

im pretty sure we had more babies, but they were prolly eaten

in the summer we put em outside with a mini waterfall and founatin(mini), its a 90 gal thing we got at WalMart, this winter though, when they were inside, we put them in a 50 gal. drum, it worked pretty good

my dad pets them

Some ammonia can take care of that.....the excess ammonia will kill the fish and the remaining bacteria in the tank will eat the ammonia. That way you dont have to change all the water.

Case solved.

i'm trying to decide in my 75 if i want to put a bunch of tiger and red oscars in there, or if i want to go with more piranhas...or maybe even some cichlids.

i'm trying to decide if i need to start thinking about reinforcing the floor where the tank would go. 75 gallons weighs A LOT, plus the tank itself and the oak stand.

well, at home, i have a 29 gallon with Jelly Bean Parrot Cichlids, a female Jack Dempsey; I also have a 12 Gallon Saltwater NanoCube, with a Percula Clownfish, featherduster, 10lbs. live rock, sea urchin, and Sebae Anemone.
i've been in the hobby for about 6 years now...i love fish.
i also work at a pet store, and we have 39 aquariums that are 15 gallons apiece, where we house our fish for sale. my favorite is our 125G with all kinds of community fish (Irridescent sharks, Bala Sharks, various Tetras, Raphaels, Angels, Bicolor Rainbows, and two big Synodontis Eupterus Catfish.)

yeah, the hobby does that to ya. it seems as though you can never have enough stuff for your tanks, or just setting up new ones in general.

I used to have a betta.  It was pretty cool.  I had it for about 3 years, until my sister's idiot friend decided to put food coloring in the water.

And my neighbor had an oscar that was pretty cool, too.  If you held a worm over the tank, it would jump up and take it right out of your hand.
