I'm not too knowledgeable about the older Tippmanns, so I figured why not ask you guys on the Forums. My friend is selling a bunch of his paintball stuff and I asked him what he had. He said a bunch of stuff that was out of my price range, when suddenly he mentioned one of his Pro-Lites.

He's offering it to me for $60. Yes, it is used, and it is fairly old, and it needs a new sear. My friend said he would fix that for me before I buy it though. I pretty much want to buy it because I'd like to try and improve my game buy using an older, slower gun, instead of depending on speed. (A-5 with E-grip and a bunch of other crap.) It would also be kinda funny to own some of the cocky guys I play, that think they are God because they have a fast gun.

Soooo... should I try and buy? After testing it first of course. Thanks for reading.

As long as he'll fix it for you, it's a decent deal. And you're right, it is so much fun when you take out the cocky players with you 10+ year old gun. Favorite time for me: taking out a guy with an upped shocker with my SL-68 II
Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

Seems like a pretty good deal...Just as long as he fixes the sear... Did you test shoot it?

Yeah, I shot it like half a year ago. But to actually answer your question, yes, after he fixes it. I was maybe gonna go out in the woods with it and play a few games with it.

sounds like fun, Pro-Lites own, they have em at my field for rent, so when ever my gun doesnt work, i get cheered up because i get to feel *older* school for a little, enjoy it.
