Hurray for me being lazy!

Ièll reveal the truth cause no one cares.

It hit one of our mess halls.
The one i was to go eat at had my buddy not asked me to go for a run instead...i was eating at the other mess hall 400M away when they hit.

My buddies were working in the CommCen (which is only 50M away)when they hit and are still just a little shook up.

Ièm glad my laziness prevailed and prevented me from walking the extra 400M for fried shrimp.
A second class drive is always better than a first class walk.

Glad to hear you're ok, it'd suck to get blown up in your first few weeks in country(only slightly more than getting blow up in the first place)

The last thing I've heard of along these lines was a lazer that has been used to shoot down multiple mortar rounds that was supposed to be deployed a few months ago.
