I Currently have a tippmann 98 but it broke so im thinking of either buying a Tippmann98 Act or a tippmann A-5 plus upgrades . The 98 with upgrade will around 50$ less than the A-5 plus upgrades and idk which one to get and can you please tell me what is the difference between A-5 and 98 act

Well, the Tippmann 98 has anti-chop technology(ACP) where as the A5 doesnt. The A5 comes stock with the cyclone. I think the price is pretty close. There are equal amounts of upgrades for both. I would personally go with the A5.

both are relatively close in performance. it just depends on which you perfer. |

Having Anti-Chop technology doesn't compare to having the cyclone
system, with the cyclone, you don't need ACT because balls don't break.
You could always just by a dirt cheap 98c and upgrade it by putting a cyclone system on it when you get enough money. |

As far as I have experienced with installing the cyclone on a 98 is that the cyclone does chop if you put cheap paint into it. the cyclone does break balls. so i have no idea what you are talking about. ACT does come in handy. but you really dont need it if you have yr gun tuned well. |
