When you buy a Custom Pro e-grip you get all the grip internals that just drop into the grip, also if u read his post he says hes got a custom Pro, not a 98. So you buy a Custom PRO E-grip and not a 98e.

Your original double trigger and guard you get with the pro will work with the E-grip. Just take a look at tippmannparts.com, you could always just save the hassle and buy an APE board.

You can use your stck trigger , but the band must be removed to use it with an e-trigger.

no, see i have a custom pro and i HAVE to buy the e-trigger...not the egrip. Thats what the tippmann site says. the egrip is for the A-5. i have to get the etrigger which is where i have to open up the whole gun to put the parts in.

Sorry yeah, mixed me words up there didnt I. Whenever I talk about the word trigger I think about the actual trigger (Where ur fingys go), so I tend to use the word grip meaning everything that is contained within it.

Not many items requiring batteries come with them in the box (some do) because items may sit on the shelf for months or even years. Many batteries just can't wait that long!

You need to buy one.  Get a duracell 9v two pack or something, it'll last a while.

I also recommend you buy the APE board with solenoid from www.tippmannparts.com.   All you need is that, and the armature pin, and it will give you an e-trigger.

well its too late for me to get that. cuz i already bought it. and it has the WAS board already with it, and i find it to be fine im very excited to try it out. only bad thing is i have to wait 2 weeks before i can. cuz im broke now. but the installation was kind of hard at first for this. getting everything set. and it would have been nice to have the wires a lil longer on them. but all in all, a very nice upgrade. i was shooting enough and fast that my CO2 tank froze and i had to put it away to let it thaw out.

Did that with my A5 at 20 bps... the hammer ring froze so I was getting co2 on my finger.(I was out of paint and did not care to waist air) Holding it at 20 bps freezes it up very quick!!!

congrats on the high rate of fire...  WAS boards are definately a step up in the Tippmann evolutionary ladder.  I personally wish they would have gone the APE route (since may other producers use WAS), but it's a step forward.
A stick trigger will definately help out your walking ability since there is no awkward ridge in the way.  Just wanted to try to help you out, enjoy your upgrades!
