I'm sure Crossfire could hook you up if you contacted them. You are talking about the actual TANK REG right? Like you have the bottle but no reg for it? Edited by hybrid-sniper - 12 July 2006 at 1:52pm |

They sell em on pbnation alot, you could go to a proshop(atleast mine), and get a mini max flo. Or send it to crossfire and get one of theirs |

Tippya5, You have been here long enough now to post, at this point, 377 messages to the forums, and you have not learned how to do a search yet? All the HPA tanks contain High Pressure Air. It is regulated down to marker operating pressures by the regulator, called a primary regulator, located in the valve mechanism on the neck if the bottle. There are two standard bottles available, a high pressure output and a low pressure output. High pressure reg output is ~850 psi. Low pressure output is about 400 psi. (there are also tanks that have adjustable regulators on them). If your marker is operating at 325 psi then you must be using a secondary regulator to control gas pressure before it enters the marker. If you have a secondary regulator then you can probably use either a high or low output tank. There are also high and low pressure secondary regulators. A high pressure secondary regulator regulates from 0 to ~1000 psi (and higher in some cases). So it can adjusted and used on markers that are considered either high pressure or low pressure, or anywhere in between. A low pressure secondary regulator has a typical adjustment range of 0 psi to about 400 psi. If you are running a marker that operates on low pressure, a low pressure output secondary regulator will give just a tad more uniformity shot to shot that a high pressure output reg adjusted down to the low pressure level. But, either will work. |

one more question. how do i screw off the valve on my tank? I tryed twisting it off but it didn't seem to budge. Is there a screw or something? I read something... it sayed that the threads are backwords on the tanks..and you have to you heat to get it off...and you use thread locker to put it back on...is this true? I just dont want to do something wrong and the tank to blow up. I looked at some posts, some people use heat to get the thread locker off. I heard some storys about people using heat on there scuba tanks; it later blew up. if i took it to my scuba store could they change the valve? (they sell/fill paintball tanks) Edited by tippya5extreme - 12 July 2006 at 9:34pm |

Take it to your shop to get it done. Seriously. Do not mess around with tank valves unless you know exactly what you are doing.

I had my local shop install a Conquest reg (sex on wheels) that I bought from another store, and they put it on with no fuss. Business is business. What tank reg do you have now? Edited by hybrid-sniper - 12 July 2006 at 11:39pm |

i dont have a tank regulator. i have a 3000psi 72cu tank with a standard tank valve. i would think buying a tank reg would make my shots more consistent. |

That would be a reg. Without it your gun would get 3000 psi. HPA tanks aren't like C02 tanks where it's just a valve: HPA tanks have regs by design.

It's a preset reg, meaning you can't adjust it. Your output is 800-850 psi.
