The LPK will reduce the recoil a fair amount.  This helps keep shots in tighter groupings when ripping on that e-grip.  Whether is "worth it" or not really depends on your budget.  The LPK certainly isn't an absolutely necessary upgrade, but if you've run out of upgrades and are dying to spend some more $$ on your A-5 then go for it.

Does it reduce how loud the gun is? how about shots per tank?

You will definately notice reduced report and recoil when using the LPK.  Shots per tank should stay about the same.

BTW, you can get the Tippmann regulator, but its not really one of the better regs available.  You can attach any guage onto the bottom of the low pressure chamber.

Do you have to have a regulator to use it? would a gas through grip work temporarily?

how easy is the install?

Yes, you need a regulator.  You will not be able to get your velocity low enough without one.

Install is basically straightforward, however slightly time consuming the first time.   It will go alot quicker if your using macroline instead of steel braided.

ok, anyone reccomend a good regulator?

Is the tippmann one good enough to use it for two weeks? I have to mow the lawn a couple times to get a new one..

thanks for all the help. I will probably get it today, and need to know the reg.

Your better off saving your money on the LPK and getting a regulator FIRST.  After you have a regulator then get a LPK later on down the road.

And yes, the Palmer's Stabilizer really IS worth it.

some people complain the palmers stab is really long, making the gun tall, is that true? i have the shockteck relocater, which already makes the gun pretty tall.

I agree with everything Fyrefly posted regarding the LPK.

As to length of the Stabilizer - I usually have a Stabilizer on my A-5, and it LOOKS really long.  In reality, the tank comes down lower (at least with my small drop), so the Stab doesn't actually make the gun taller.

Thanks for all the help.

Do you guys know if the trinity inline reg is good? my local proshop has one for $63 and i was wondering if that was the regulator for me.

If they have a low pressure kit there i will buy it tomorrow.

EDIT: Can the trinity inline carry a string of 15 bps with its recharge rate?

same case, with my cocker.  once you put a uni and such on there, it won't make it taller.

CP regs are really good.  That's the reg that comes on the Matrix, or used to at least...

I don't know what the max output of it is though.

Hmmm wish I would have seen this sooner. I guess I’m wondering why you wouldn’t get more balls per tank. PSI is your pounds per square inch or how much air you can shove into each CI of the tank.  If you half the output of your PSI wouldn’t you double or at least increase your balls per tank? Unless the setup is inefficient and pee’s the other 400psi away?
