I purchased the vortex cyclone mod for my A5, but after I assemble it(I
think, I cant recall what it looked like inside but I'm pretty sure I
got it) the cylcone wont move unless I move it w/ my finger. I've tried
several different things over the period of about 4 hours and I give
up. My cyclone does have the "A" on the bottom, but I'm out of ideas.
Please Help, and Thank You all for your time.

A- i think one guy called tippmann and they gave him one with the A on the bottom. did you try cutting one circle off the spring on the ratchet guide?

Yea I did cut off 1 spring coil, and my cyclone is the one w/ the A. Should I call Tippmann anyway.

Check that the roll pins on the new V-ratchet are in all the way. check where the piston attaches to the V-ratchet , does it move freely. check the new feedr axle (V-axle) is pushed in all the way, sometimes they slip off the spring retainer . Did you grease it, light grease such as lithium |

Just go through the instructions again and make sure you placed everything correctly.

You need to grease the heck out of it as I did. I used some lithium grease and pretty much lubed up anything I can think of. I haven't had any problems with it so far. One thing to remember though is to loctite the screw that holds the blade in place. I had a problem with it coming loose during games and the balls did not feed.

I had that problem too, the small retaining arm got slightly bent and it would try to ratchet, but the arm wouldn't fall into place and advance the ratchet. i was able to bend it back to its original shape, and it works great now...
