Hey guys, it's been a while since i've posted (Haven't been at home much) But I need your suggestions again I have currently have a flatlined A-5 without any upgrades. I want to MOD it into some type of mil-sim but cant decide on what looks good with the flatline. Any suggestions? (P.S. is there anyway to mount a muzzle piece on the front of the flatline? Thanks in advance!

Check out www.opsgear.com They have tons of different options as far as MilSim goes.

Trust me when I say that i've had a good run through of Opsgear. The only problem with their examples is that none of them have a flatline, which is what im getting suggestions in for

There are some stores on the net where you can by different shrouds for the A-5. Like a weaver rail to make it look better for Mil-Sim instead of the plain smooth Flatline. They you can go get any other parts and it'll look fine.

Hmm, the weaver is nice but im thinking of mounting an extended barrel on the front. Another option I was thinking about last night in a dream was to make my own shroud, but I have little to no experience with a Metal Shop.

Hey its cheaper to make your own! I made a *FAKE* suppressor for my gun out of pvc and black spray paint, great intimidation factor and it magnifies the sound of my barrel!

Home made things are good, but just make sure you can re-do/throwaway/beatup/love and take off anything you make!

That's a nice suppressor, im looking into making like a side shroud that covers the main gun and part of the flatline. The hardest thing to find is one on the market that can do this due to the flatline's size. Thanks for your input Seal.

I purchased a Metadyne Shroud for the Flatline.  It's thinner, longer, w/ a muzzle break, and has RIS rails.

It's a little pricey, but I found it cheaper ($80) at Hotshotpaintball.com.

I bet you can't Wipe 20 bps....so, stop cheatin' sucka!!

Ghost that's a really nice shoud, thank you .

Raven, do you mean that you can remove the Flatline's
stock shroud first? That would solve a lot of problems.

The stock shroud can be removed.  The barrel can be completely removed from the Barrel adapter as well.  Just check your manual or:

http://www.tippmannparts.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog.pr odInfo&productID=738&categoryID=77 .

Its just a couple of set-screws holding it all together.
