Been done zillions of times. It's all cosmetic, so no real repercussions. |

Define "machine gun".
Do you mean something similar to an MG-42? Or just like an M-16? |

when you said machine gun he believed you were looking to make it look like a machine gun. thats why he gave you opsgear so you could cosmetic it up. did you mean machine gun as in how it fires or how it looks? cuz if you meant how it fires you should get the e-trigger. if you are getting a newer 98C or arleady have one then you may not be able to use it. |

A semi-auto with a single trigger is a "machine gun?"

If you really wanted a "machine gun" look, get a BT-16 Elite. But they aren't the best guns, but if thats what you want, then go for it. |

He said hes making it like an MG-42.
Get an egrip and put it on full auto then make a tripod and put it on there then it will be similar to an MG-42. You could get mods to make it look like one but that would be expensive and pointless. |

I was thinking of just getting the crank for it instead of an E-Grip.

now why would you wanna do that? i think that crank is pointless. and i think it would be hard to hold it while cranking the think. and what if you just wanted to fire once? it would be easier to just pull a trigger then to pull on a crank. and hard to aim if you wanted a precise shot.

Im sure you could get used to the crank very quickly. If you have a drop it would be easy. Pick up your gun and hold the front grip with your left hand and put the tank against your shoulder. It would be easy.
Also, who would buy a crank if they are going to shoot once? Just fling 3 or 4 balls and one will probably hit if you are close enough. |
