okay so i was cleaning my gun and my powertube fell apart, i took it to my proshop and got the guy to help me fix and i brought it home put it in the gun(A-5) and i thought 'yay its working again' i gas'd it up and fired the times and all the suddenly air started rushin out the barrel with a loud hissing noise. can anyone tell me whats going on and how to fix it.

btw, i took it back down to the proshop and asked the guy about it and he said i need a new valve, but usually they want you to spend as much money as you can. is there an eaiser way to do this?

if you have the manual for your gun/valve, take the valve apart to make shure the guy didn't put it back together wrong..

Sounds like your valve is shot. I dont believe a power tube could cause that unless its cracked, but that would be obvious. Try replacing O-rings on your valve, that might help it.

unscrew the 2 powertube screws at the side of ure gun and check to c if the back part of the powertube is cracked.  if it isnt then it is ure valve.  my valve broke a month ago and i sent it to tippmann.  they replaced it for free. they are awesome.  so if u want to do that then just send them the powertube and valve and write a note telling them what the problem is.
