I was reading the sport bike thread and it sparked an idea tell me what kind of atvs u got, 4-wheelers inparticular and if possible post pics. I myself have a 2000 polairis trail boss 350 and a 2003 polairis scrammbler 500 the scrambler maxes out at about 75 mph but do to a crash involving a tree im not sure i can straitin the frame enuf to trust it at that speed anymore

i don't have one. nor do i think i will ride one. one of my cousin's best friends was thrown from one while she was riding, she hit a tree and died on impact.

that's not the reason i don't want one, i have a car, it is all i need.

not if u can get a banshee and take the govener off of it but if u leave it on the banshee it is

Scrambler top speed is 83 mph stock, I have a 2001 400ex, I put a lower sprocket in the front so it tops out at 51mph, but that means I have enough torque and get up to roast anything with wheels in the woods, and a 2004 350 rancher, its a decent bike.

banshees dont have governers, they're just slow stock, they need reed work, intake work, carberator jetting, sprocket changes, and boring, then they're un godly fast.

I dont mean to be a smart ass about this stuff, but I have a garage fourwheeler shop, and do work on peoples bikes.

i had a 1998 honda recon 250.  it did everything i needed it to.  sold it a couple months ago to get a motorcycle though

2005 Polaris 500 Sportsman H.O. and a stock 400ex. I had a 250R(insanely fast) but I about killed myself, so I got rid of it. I really haven't road for a couple of months, just been using the 500 for work around the "farm". I wont get to ride again until I'm in on break for Thanksgiving/Deer Season(I hate living 300 miles away at college).

battlefreak how do you like the scrambler (when in proper working order)? Does it accelerate fast, how about pulling stuff and handling. I've been looking into getting one and would like to hear a first hand review from someone who actually owns one. Plus that isn't afraid to top it out lol.

the acelloration is pretty badass the speed is good and it handles great but as far as sport atvs go its a lil hevy

i klo the law made em slow em down cus they were way to fast but ure proly rite but if u can do the rite stuff or buy an older one thats not slowed down there badass but like i said i want an 06 660 raptor

A dude here died on an ATV like, a week before he graduated. Apparently landed on him and crushed his chest. I know the dude who was riding with him at the time...I'd hate to be in that situation.

we have an old snowmobeil that goes decently fast and we ride a peice
of aluminum i was holdin on to a rop one time while being pulled on it i slid off but my hand got wraped up in the rope and i got draged by my freind for a while it sucked
