    Posted: 08 August 2006 at 2:16am

I have a 98 Custom Pro with a collapsable stock. Is it possible for me to install a Low Pressure Kit? I only ask because the LPK had a knob coming out the back where the stock would go

I am a scenario player and I am trying to make a havy weapon for my team. I am planning on using nitrogen and a cyclone feed.

Pics of this "knob?" If it's what I think it is, the pic might be an E-Bolted 98c. Those are usually run at low pressure.

As far as I know, the kit has nothing that would take up the space in the back, except for the hammer, so it should be fine. I'm not sure though.

It should work fine if it's a LPK. It does sound like the gun has a rear cocking system or Ebolt on it though.

If you have pics, post them and we'll be able to help out more.

Unless you do some modifications to the rear cocking of the lpk, it won't
work.

This is a link to the pic on the site of the LPK. The knob in the back is the only question I have. If it is not possible to use a LPK and a stock, could I modify the rear sight rail for top cocking like an M-4.

Is it possible for me to also combine LPK with ACT?

Ohh. I see what you mean. Well, I don't know what to say, but with all of the LPKs I've seen, I've never noticed that. Perplexing indeed...

Sorry I can't be much help.

That is just a rear cocking thing. It SHOULD work with the stock, but the ACT I dont know. Call your local shop or Tippmann

Just leave your stock bolt in when you install the LPK. I dont think the rear-cocking mechanism is necessary for the LPK to work properly. You can then proceed to purchase a stock of your liking and not have to worry about a hassle.

OK. That solves the problem then. When I get paid I will buy nitro and a LPK.
