I milled my 98 custom, never even shot it, started the day after i got it. I tried to do something totally custom with the V/A area, but messed up really bad, no problem, nothing a little JB weld wont fix.

might I suggest filling in the warning lable with JB weld also? That
would make it look really sleek...just a thought. Everything looks good
though. Nice job.

Nice work. If it's woods, paint it olive. If it's speed, paint it black with shimmer.

This is gonna be for speedball, I have the a-5 for woods. My favorite color is green, I was thinking about a very shiny lime green. |

![]() I got the dimensions of the cocking slot and moved it to the top of the marker, and drew it on. I then took a dremel to it. As for the bolt, I got the exact same size drill bit as the hole for the cocking nob. I viced the bolt down and used a drill press on the exact same spot on the bolt, only it is on the top of the bolt. It is very important to sand and file the new holes you made, or there will be alot of friction. I then bondo'd the cocking slot to give it a nice clean look. Its not too difficult, but its more work than some people want to do. Edited by Monk - 09 August 2006 at 5:44pm |

I would take a pic of mine, but I have a centerfeed and its a pain in the butt to take it off. Really it just goes front of the bolt...inclined section for sear...edge that catches sear...hole for cocking nob...end of bolt.
The gap under the bolt is not wide enough for the cocking nob to fall through, so you dont have to worry about that. But if you are, you can always not drill all the way throught the bolt, and dremmel some of the width off the top(wide pard) or the cocking nob. |
