Hey I herd that the Tippmann A-5 was made of polymer plastic is this true?

Because polymer is tuff s*** and can take a beating. The new Kalashnikov series assault rifles use it, like the Ak-101, and so on.

polymer is a very generic term, almost as broad as plastic.

i think the a5 grip frame/cocking lever/cyclone are made out of some kind of glass reinforced plastic. the only thing i ever worry about breaking is the cyclone cylinder.

I think you are both right. I think it "may" be glass reinforced polymer. most compainies are going with this stuff. It gets cheaper to make it every year
1 paintball gun package=$150
1 case of paint=$50
air & entry fee=$15
lighting up newbies all day long= Priceless
