	the way barrel adapters work on the A-5 is that it is a part inside the gun that can be replaced with a different one for different threads. on the 98 you end up buying little "mini barrels" with the male threading of the 98 and then the female threading of whatever you are trying to adapt the gun to so that you screw the adapter in the 98 and then you screw the other barrel into the adapter. on the A-5 its just one piece that you take your gun apart and remove the entire barrel housing and place in a different one with different style threading.
