All you do is take the marker apart and using some fine steel wool or something similar you shine up the aluminum anywhere the hammer or front bolt slides back and forth. Then get some metal polish and shine it up real nice. It just reduces friction a little. People act like it's such a big "upgrade".

It kept my A5 from freezing over the winter. My gun was the only one that did not freeze. think it was about 20-30 F

I dont consider it an Upgrade...more of mod...but it does make for less wear on the internals and smoother operation.
