The Orange brand looks like your best bet considering its tested to 2200 psi over the actionvillage brand which is only tested to 850 psi...which co2 tends to jump too. i wouldnt risk it.

macro line blowouts can get nasty and really ruin a day of play. go with the orange.

Hoses aren't necessarily the problem; the fittings are.

The orange looks awesome. If you really don't need to make the switch, I wouldn't. The only reason I would switch to macro on a Tippmann was if the SS line was all coiled because it is too long, or if I was using HPA and it wasn't a long distance between the 2 connection points.

The inside of the stock braided hose is a macro-line set at 850psi pressure capacity... So I don't see what you guys are talking about with those macro-lines rupturing... That Macroline on action village is basically interrior of the stock steel hose... macro. :-P either way if you get your macroline gets cut somehow, it is VERY easy to change about 100% faster than Braided Lines you just pop 'em out, n pop new ones in. I personally prefer braided though since I play woods ball they could somehow get cut on tree limbs

here is my problem I have an X-core expansion and I was thinking about getting a drop. So I would be looking at like maybe 2in of hose and I dont  know if I want to get steal because The one I have on my gun right now is about 1/2in too long (from my asa to my x-chamber without the drop). so I was thinking Macro I could cut to fit.

With such a short distance, macro should be fine. Just carry around extra macro just in case.

I know someone with an expansion chamber on their A5 that was actually a drop inside itself. It had an ASA at the bottom of the expansion chamber so there was nothing connected to the bottom of the grip. I don't know what it was, I don't think the owner even knows what brand it is. I know a lot more about his A5 than he does and I have actually only experienced opening an A5 once...his. He doesn't believe in opening it up and and actually cleaning it. So it was really dirty inside. It still worked nonetheless.

that would be a huge drop. I think that I will get macro and a drop. I'm not so sure about using my x chamber as a drop

Macroline sucks with co2, if your gun is sitting in the sun too long, the co2 will expand, and I beleive the macroline gets weak too, it will then explode, happened to my brother one time.

I really wish people would read before commenting, MACROLINE IS THE SAME LINE THAT IS INSIDE THE BRAIDED HOSE! Most likely ALL of your hoses have exploded, the braided coat simply kepts it contained so that there are no leaks, QcXF It is very easy, all you do is PINCH the connector to make them come out. it's basically a 2 second work job that's what's so good about it. You will want to replace it every 1-2 months however a foot long of macro is only like 3 dollars so it's very cost-effective

F3lix what the heck are you talking about? AV is very good why are they bad because they have 850 PSI hose lines which basically everyone else carries? If you're just trying to get posts that's a bad way to get 'em

I think a lot of people already know that. Thing is, do you ever see SS blowing up, umm no not really. The SS is there to help protect and reinforce the macro inside. Stop getting so angry at everyone.
