I just did mine 2 weeks ago. It's not that hard. Read the instructions. Make sure you have a good punch to remove the knock out plate. When I hit mine just the center popped out you need to take out the whole area that is marked so the o-ring can seal on the fitting for the cylinder. Also you do not need to remove the powertube if you have A.C.T. If you need any help I will try to help you with your install. Your going to love it. Single shot when you want and able to throw a rope to get somebody scared and out of a bunker!

You don't need it. Check tippanparts.com they flat out tell you it is not needed. Just install it. You will know what i'm talking about when you do.

Super R\T makes it faster....but it has been known to have problems. You'll be fine with the regular R\T it's still very fast and fun to use. And yes, it is VERY easy to install.... if you have taken your 98 apart before...

There is a sticky on this forum about making your r/t 'super'. Involves 1\4" hoses/fittings. |

1\4 hoses? No, 1\8 hoses + Fittings, or 10\32 hoses + Fittings, I have never heard of ANYONE useing 1\4 hoses\fittings, 10\32 has no point anyway, that's wayyy to thick, 1\8 is big enough to get ALL The air you need in there.

...regular R\T is 1\16 hoses buddy... 98c CAN come with 1\8 hoses, then you would get 10\32's... not 1\4

Mr. 47, revoxt, tippmania what ever you go buy today. I never had my gun apart before I installed the r/t. I found that if you read the instuctions for it and refer to the exploded veiw in your guns owners manual you will learn alot about how, were, and why things work the way they do. The key is just take your time. Watch how things come apart. And... READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! A little common sense helps to.

Everything has it's obvious place, it's not rocket science...the only thing you have to worry about popping out is the sear or the Tombstone Spring...

I'm thinking of going back to r/t, I have one of the early a5 e-triggers and i'ts a battery hog, even if the battery starts to lose it's charge, it will fire randomly when I pull the trigger. I see from the posts here that the new boards are way easier on the battery so maybe I'l try that.

Early E-Grips battery hogs? Are you kidding? I've heard of people useing the same battery for almost a year! Think about it, even though LEDS don't use much battery, they use some, other boards would use more than the orignal e-grip simply because of how they are designed. Not to mention it sucks that you have to have a TOOL to turn on the was board and that you actually have to turn it off.. I like my Dial-E-Grip, shuts off after ten minutes of inactivity, turns on when trigger is pulled, less to mess up programmng wise as well.
