None of the subjects, aside from the grass, were larger than a quarter. More images (Not handheld this time) to come tomorrow.

I think macro gets old fast, but to each his own. I enjoy urban cityscape/city life shots more.

Granted we're comparing Crab Apples and Golden Delicious I feel its appro.

It's all fun to me Dave, I'm just excited since i've never had the gear to even attempt macros before.

Third one is pretty cool, the second one is more abstract, but what I would call a 'Mood' shot.
What be this new gear you got? A nice, short prime lens?

Also, it's a shame you stripped the EXIF data, I was curious.

New gear is a Canon USM 100mm Macro lens

Along with a 580EX speedlight, and some other MISC. stuff.

Next order will be all my studio equipment.

As for EXIF data, it gets stripped when I convert from .Raw to .Tiff. to .Jpeg. there is no cropping, no enlarging. A bit of contrast adjustment on the first image, Slight hue adjustment on the second. and nothing on the third.
