I do like Chipotle sometimes. My wife isn't a fan, so I don't get it that often. It makes it virtually impossible to OD on it and come to hate it.
However the greatest burritos in the world will be this Saturday. There is a Silver City Days festival near my grandparents. It's a largely Mexican area, and there is a particular family that makes burritos that I live on. The festival started the year before I was born and I've missed only one of them. Even then I got some burritos, and I will get them until I die or this family is wiped off the Earth. I buy them by the dozen to eat for as long as possible after the festival and then bide my time until the next year. Chipotle is a shadow of the simplistic beauty of that family's generations old recipie. It needs no sauce, no stuffed ingredients. It's just awesome. |
