Pus is grease. Pretty much any oil designated for paintball guns will work. |

Just goto D*cks Sporting Goods or Walmart and get some Hoppes #9 Gun Oil.... I bought a whole big bottle of it for $2, and Hoppes #9 is exactly what Tippmann ships with their markers. I'm sure you could use others... I'd just rather stick with what Tippmann recommends.

Yep, Hoppes #9. Was told by Tippmann it's the same stuff that comes with a Tippmann. Like Mr. Blonde said Wally World special! A couple bucks for 2 1/4 o.z bottle.

Oh, and just to let you know, any 3-in-1 oil will work fine. PMI's Marker Oil is most likely, Hoppes #9, just under a diff name. Lube Oil.. is Lube Oil as long as it's 3-in-1, it's all good.

I used the PMI stuff on my old Piranha's and Spyders, it's not bad at all. Heck, I could even use SHOCK lube on my O-Rings if I wanted too.

Just make sure you use either Hoppes #9 or anything designated as a paintball marker lubricant. I only use silicone based oils myself, they have worked great.
The one thing I have to add that hasn't been said yet is to NEVER use any type of natural oils or shop lubricants. The O-rings will absorb that kind of stuff and swell, becoming useless. SO just buy a big bottle of good oil and stick with it. |
