Enjoy baseball man, when you graduate you'll miss it.  I played ever since t-ball.  It sucks not getting too this year.

Anyway, Detroit will win.  The Cardinals or Mets don't have near the pitching that Detroit does.  The Cards or Mets have the potential to win with their Ace on the mound, but after that some for sure losses are coming.

Detroit will win.  You cant beat good pitching in the playoffs.  I agree with Heres To You, the other teams might win with their ace on the mound but you also have to remember, Detriot might and probably will match up one of there ace's with the openents.

If the Astros had traded for a half-decent batter at the trade deadline we'd be in the World Series too.

Who starts playing when they're 8? That's really late, missing alot of fundamentals.

I've been playing since I was 4, now about to turn 16.

I started Tee Ball Baseball at age 5...You dont learn really anything till the age of 7 or 8 anyways.  All you care about are the treats after the game.

Not really, 8 is a late start. It's just so much easier when you start early, kind of like learning a second language.

I dont agree with that.  At age 5 you dont teach the kids anything. You just show them were the bases are and that you throw the ball to first.

I know a guy that didn't play till his sopohmore year and got a scholarship.

I batted .367 my senior year and never got one letter.  Thats just the way things work.
