hey guys, i've been investing in a stock for my 98c, and since its ACT, do i need any special kind of stock? |

It's best to restrain yourself from talking back to noobs, they're very territorial and easily angered. Then they will attempt to abuse you, with back up from other noobs, because they work in packs.

Yes, you need ACT specific when you buy. I have a Tapco for mine. They make ones for the real stuff like Ak's and AR-15's. Lifetime warranty also. The only difference is one for a ACT has the extra hole in it for the the upper sring. several companies offer ones for the 98ACT. It's up to you what one you want to get. I prefer the Tapco. I'm 99.9% sure thats who makes them for Tippmann. they look identical to me. Check them out at: www.tapco.com.

it depends on what kind of stock. the vast majority will still be able to fit with a generous gap between the tank and the stock. it would have to be a really big stock in order to interfere with your tank... |

The Tippmann/Special Ops Stocks are the same as the T6 but three position.

Well..
My brother has one of the 6-posi Tapco stocks on his 98, and I have some non branded 6-posi stock on my Custom Pro. The stocks look identical. My gun has ACT, and my stock was not for ACT. All I did was take a properly sized drill bit and drill the extra hole. Problem solved. A 9 or 12oz tank with butt plate makes for a nice stock too. :) I've got a rounded butt plate on a 12oz tank and it feels more comfortable than the 6-posi stock. |
