My tippmann 98 custom now jams. The balls somtimes get lodged where the hoppen meets the barrel. The only way to unjam it is to take off the barrel and take a allen wrench and pushing it back into the hopper. Thanks in advance

Check your ball latch to make sure it is still there if not broken.  ALso take your elbo off and look at that and feed opening for anything obstructing the path.

I dont really think it would be nessesary for an electro hopper without the rt/e-grip. But hey they do look cool. Try doing the steps that they posted above, also is your allen nut/bolt too tight where the neck of the hopper meets the elbo?

If you plan on getting a RT or egrip then you might as well just buy an electro. I use an egg i got off my brother for really cheap just because I hate ball jams so much plus I will be getting the RT soon. So it really does benefit you, plus you get to be more familiar with it when the firepower upgrades do come.

Bruce, honestly.

It was a complete joke.  Why would you want me to get kicked out of the forums. Okay it was dumb I admit. But I have helped many people on here and have been very serious and done my best to help others with serious matters, but that particular day I was in the mood to joke around a bit and I did.

I didn't mean for anyone to get hurt and I figured that the guy would know not to do that and that I was kidding. If I didn't make it obvious enough that it was a joke I apologize to everyone on this thread that found it rude, mean and offensive or anything like that cause that is not what I meant it for.

Plus I know that he didn't ask a dumb question or anything so I had no reason to give a dumb response I was honestly just being stupid.  Once again I apologize.

Oh by the way, I would never think think of placing an open jack knife on a friends (or anyones) chair as they sat down and I don't even know what you mean by goosing a co-worker with an air hose, but I'm pretty sure that I probably wouldn't do it to anyone either.

You can think of me what you will.  But don't be too upset with me because it was really just a stupid comment/joke - me not thinking that they could actually beleive me.

If you really want to know what I do on these forums and what I think about you - just look at some of the things that I mentioned about you on posts from a couple days ago.  Times when I backed you up.  Times when I helped other people with long and well written help with great explanations so that you or others wouldn't have to.

"Such inane and dangerous advise should fully strike you out of the forums permanently!"

Okay, (me) phil_stl can be labeled if you like as an idot that says stupid crap. Whatever, just know that it was a joke.

what type of paint are you using? you might try swithing paint.

Do chop balls, double fire, never fire, what exactly happens? it could be a couple diffrent poblems but i check the ball stop.

Good luck

Even if he did stick his finger in the side feed and pull the trigger, nothing would really happen.... All he'd get is the force from the spring which isn't close to enough to cause damage to anyones finger.
