I'm done buying Tippmanns.  I just want to upgrade my Tippy until it has had enough.

My next upgrades will be

Scepter 4000 Grenade Launcher

A bigger tasco read dot sight, I have the 30mm I want the 42mm.

The apex barrel with the UMS Apex mod and stick it onto a 8 or 10 inch JJ.  Or maybe I'll just use the 12inch JJ that I already own.  But I don't want the barrel to be too long when I put the Apex end on it. (I already own the flatline though).

I would get the apex that comes the m4 shroud with the rails around the shroud so I can attach the scepter 4000 greanade launcher to the gun. (Wait... I know I can buy apex's with m4 shrouds but do some of those m4 shrouds have rails on them - like this shroud?) http://www.specialopspaintball.com/shop/product_detail.asp?S KU=220+0007&SEARCH=SHROUD If not I'll buy the regular apex and that shroud.

Crossfire 68/4500 and get a pack to hold it so I can use my remote coil with it.

Palmers Male stabalizer

Full Digital Camo suit

Milling and then paint the gun and everything else on the gun even my mask the same color and same type of digital camo as my digital camo suit/outfit - and I'll even get a lens cover off the specopps site that has the same color digital camo as my gear.  --- I will be invisible!! lol.

Mod a couple other upgrades on my gun.

And then I will have an amazing woodsball setup.

And then I'll buy the newest ego on the market for speedball.

So no more Tippy's for me. My 98 is just fine thanks.

Awesomeman I like the 98 cause it's light (plus I did the 98 superlight mod) and many others. I don't know I just love my 98 C.

I guess cause I have put a lot of time and money into it but yes by the time I'm done getting everything I'll have spent over 2.5K on Paintball gear (and I'll only have a Tippy).  I'm estimating that I'll spend another $980 - 1K on pb gear to have my Tippy and everything including camo gear and I mean everything PERFECT.

So far I've spent $1844.87 CDN. Yes I've kept track of every paintball purchase, - it wasn't that hard cause I buy all my paintball stuff online.

Do you want a list of everything I bought? In case you do. lol. Here's how much I wasted: (oh the prices include shipping fees to Canada - cause I buy almost everything on ebay). Oh and the reason some things are divided into different tables is cause I bought some things toghether and some things seperatly. (Prices are CDN).

Yes I've spent way too much on stuff that isn't very important.  That's what happens when you get addicted to ebay. (I'm a University Student too. - Not too good for debts.) My suggestion: stay away from ebay!

I'm definetly not getting the phantom.  Have you checked the reviews for it.  The thing weights 3.3 pounds with the grenade inside it.

Here's some things people said about it:

Expensive.
Trigger hard to press and recoil is painful.
Bad accuracy at mid range.
Heavy.

______________________________

HEAVY, unaccurate, reloadings a bit tough to get down

______________________________

The charger has been nothing but trouble!!

When hooking the charger up tp the tank, it leaks and does not seal properly. I have tried several different tanks and seals. The charger is STILL NOT WORKING!!

______________________________

Grenade charger started leaking out of the velocity adjuster.

__________________________________________________________

The Scepter 4000 weights under 1 pound. Plus it acctually shoots a grenade.

The Phantom shoots  bunch of balls at the same time - whats the point of that anyway.  I'd rather have all my balls shooting where I aim my gun.  Not coming from something that takes a lot of air and scatters them.

The scepter 4000 has the best reviews on the grenade launcher market and it has past more safety standards than any other launcher.

The scepter 4000 is double the price or more than the phantom but I always want the absolute best no matter what the cost (I'm sure you can tell) lol.

Personally I would rather upgrade my guns than to buy a whole new one. I would rather go get an E-bolt and LPK for my 98 than spend 329$ on a X-7. and that 329$ is BEFORE any of the milsim upgrades.

I mean, 20$ for a front sight? 25$ for a carry handle? 25$ for a magazine? 45$ for a front grip? and anywhere from 70$ to 150$ for a stock!?!?!

I know this is to appeal to those who like milsim, but if I wanted to milsim a gun, I would just buy junk from OpsGear or SpecOps for my A-5 or do some custom work to my 98 to make it into a gangster style tommy gun.

I just went through the build your own gun junk, and put on the cheapest add-ons to the gun and it costs 513$. that is just rediculos. 513$ for very milsim version of an A-5 which has a new cyclone EP that goes up to 20 BPS. hurray. now I just need to spend another 100$ or so to get an E-grip for it once they come out since of course you have to get this so you can utilise the more powerful cyclone. and a remote setup since of course a milsim gun cant have a tank on it. Oh and dont forget the inevitable new barrel you will need since the stock one will be trash like any other stock barrel and of course it will probably end up being some expensive specops barrel which has changable tips that look like the tips on real guns.

personally, its to much of a money sink. milsims are awesome when done right, but MAN are they expensive. if I was gonna do a milsim I want it to be unique also, not a copy paste your X-7 from their "build your own x-7" demo. Milsims are to be a work of art. it is much more fulfilling to create your own masterpeice that to just fork out a ton of money to buy it from someone else. I would much rather hold a gun which I have spend countless hours working on it. its much better when someone asks about your awesome milsim gun to talk about all the time and energy you have spent creating it than to say "well I bought it from Tippmann this way, isnt it great?!"

Ya snick I totally aggree with you. Milsim is sooo expensive.  I'm still going to probably spend around another $1000 before my whole woodsgear is the way I want it to be and until I own pretty much every top of the line upgrade for my gun (in my opinion).

I still have to getthe scepter 4000, good/expensive digi camo suit, palmers reg, another raised sight rail, a bigger tasco red dot sight, crossfire fiberwrapped HPA, milling the gun, doing some cosmetic mods and even performance mods, getting duracoat paint supplies and professionally doing a digi camo to all my gear including my mask so it all matches my digi camo suit.

I think I already mentioned this stuff, but anyway when I'm done, I will not give up my setup for anything.

Oooh, sorry, wrong answer.

My A-5 was garbage, and my C3 never actually made it onto a field
before crashing and burning (no, not literally, so no film at 11).

In the past, I would have agreed, but with recent experiences ... ?

Sorry, the trust account is a bit on the overdrawn side.

Besides, app. $350 for a non-electro?

I would go AGD Tac-One before making that purchase ...

I just made this account to tell everyone of you that your dumb.  Your dumb because you've all put your guns and upgrades all on your posts, and phil even added what he spent on all of it. Apparently you are attempting to show off what you have, and hope that people will feel envy for you, but non-the-less, no one cares.  So hopefully now that this has been pointed out to all of you,  in the future you will think before you make a dimwitted act like this again.   Gizmo is aside from this ;).

I just made this post to tell you that you are dumb. You are dumb because you bumped a thread from november even though it is now march of the next year. You bumped the thread so you could flame people even though, I actually don't understand what you're trying to say. You ramble on about how we posted our guns and upgrades to get envy. Aparently you are trying to be cool and hope that others will support you but non-the-less , no one cares. So hopefully now this has been pointed out to you, in the future you will think about logging into this forum.
