First off, do I really need the super r/t or just the standard banjo fitting to make it work with my r/t? Second, is there a way to keep the quick release feature with the cyclone installed?

It's hard to understand everything you are talking about.  Mention the word cyclone in your phrase don't break your thoughts up and expect us to piece everything toghether to help you.

You don't need the super rt to make the rt work with your cyclone if that is what you are asking. All you need to do is call tippmann and tell them you have an rt with a cyclone feed and you need a banjo fitting. They will send you one (or two) for free.

The quick release feature. You mean taking your hopper complety off?  No because a hose is attached to the cyclone so it can't all just come off. You can still lower it to the side to sweegee your barrel.

Hey Phil, did your gold fish die or something? Sorry you had to work so hard to help me. I already know you can get the standard fitting from Tippmann. That was not my question. I wanted to know if the super R/T really made a difference or not. I guess I should have asked that instead. You got me there. But I have read on tippmannparts.com that the 1/8 hoses are not necessary. Just wanted to know from someone who had it if it helps. As far as the quick release goes... I thought Tippmann called it a quick release elbow not a hopper? Anyway one of my questions was ansewered. I like the ability to drop the elbow and run a squeegee if i get a break in the barrel during a match.

No I don't have a goldfish actually

It would be nice to know your setup to know what you talking about right from the beggining.

I initially didn't undertand what you were talking about. you wanted to know about the cyclone but you said quick release feature not quick release elbow so I explained the quick release feature the cyclone has.

With the cyclone you can still lower the cyclone to the side and sweegee like I said in my last post (in bolded area).  But the cyclone which is considered the hopper (thank you very much) can not be taken off/disconnected as easily because of the hose (as I said in the underlined part) of my last post.

Say what you mean and use the correct terms and it will be easier for people to help you and then actually read what people post when they are trying to help you.

Oh by the way, the wider hoses aren't necessary. They might sometimes get you and extra 1 - 2 bps.  I have it by the way, and I also have a QEV which adds more bps as well.

No, I did not post that! For the record you did give me a parts list and where to get them from when I PM'd you. Thanks for that I guess? But I already found all of that info in the Super R/T + Q.E.V tutorial. Also if the Cyclone is the hopper than why do all A5's have a Cyclone Feed System AND a 200 round wide mouth hopper included? Then, when I asked you about the Vortex mod in the PM, all you did was copy what tippmannparts.com had and pasted it. Again, I have already read that! Don't assume that I have not done some research before I ask. No matter how Dumb the question might seem to you! Last, Carl is the one who ansewered my question about the Quick release feature not you! Don't think I did not welcome your effort to help me. But do not post things I did NOT say!!! Thank you very much!
