Topic: A-5 Cyclone and E-GripPosted: 22 November 2006 at 10:19pm |

Hello, if this Q. has been asked before then I apoligize for Duplicating. I have recently bought a E-grip for my A-5, I installed and now it is shooting way too fast for the cyclone to keep up feeding the balls into the chamber, I have seen a Cyclone mod on eBay it is the Vortex Mod, I was wondering if anyone has tried this out yet, and does it actually work, or do you know of something better, any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Yes the vortex mod works great. I am not sure if the mod comes with a qev, but you will need one of those too.

You don't "need" a QEV.

RAMBO is that what I'm supposed to call you right? Oh yes, btw it is an excellent upgrade. But the QEV (or Clippard MEV) might be the first upgrade you want to get. Edited by phil_stl - 23 November 2006 at 7:21am |

Well that is what they call me at the woodsball games that I play, because of my A5 that looks like an assault rifle. Thanks for the anwsers again, I will most likely get both mods. I appreciate everything.

If the egrip is cycling too fast for the cyclone, adjust the bps down.

Yep, you can adjust the ROF on all three Egrip boards (original, WAS & APE). |

APE is the best board. I don't think you can buy the original ones anymore unless its a used one and the WAS is the board that comes in the egrips now.
You can buy a WAS egrip that is a basic bolt on for 100 bucks If you want the APE you have to buy the grips halves the board and the trigger which is about 120-150 depending on what you get. Unless they sell them in a package deal somewhere but I don't think they do yet. |
