Nitro and HPA are the same thing. If you plan to stick with CO2, you can forget the LPK. If you have the money, I would go with the Palmer's rather than the DOP 8-stage. If you're going with HPA, you dont really need the LPK. Go with a Rufus Dawg Wicked bolt. You dont really need any aftermarket internals other than the bolt. Vortex is a good idea if you're keeping the cyclone, which I would. You cant put an Ebolt on an A5. I would go with a RT rather than an Egrip though. As for a barrel, I would go with a JJ Ceramic + UMS adaptor + Apex tip. You shouldnt need the spring kit, but I guess it never hurts to have back-ups.

Incorrect, sir.  With some modding, the Ebolt can fit into an A-5, but I doubt he wants to do that, because he would need the LPK kit for it and a HPA tank.

Thats a rather impressive list of upgradesm and I think North summed it up nicely on the things you had questions with.

I wouldn't even bother with a Spec-Ops barrel...

Also the Lapco Bigshot will not accept the UMS adaptor.

I would go with a J&J Ceramic. Cheap, and accurate.

Save your money on the UMS adapter, you can easily make your own.

I wouldn't pay 25 bucks for this:

Milled & Cut 98Custom
A.P.E. Board
Polished Int.
Palmer's Stab.
Apex mounted on C.P. Classic
Center-Fed Halo B

actually i think the barrel is being made by stiffi so it can't be 100% Specops "we are woodsball blah blah blah..." (why can't it be we are woodsball we make a living selling stuff worth 5-10 dollars on ebay for alot than that)
table of what really makes your marker work
*Gnomes= autocockers
*Fairies= Angels
*Pixies= Timmys
*leprachauns= tippys
*goblins= spyders
*elves= mags
*lawyers= smartparts
Ya I'm that smart

ive heard that the dye ultralite is a great barrel...is it quiet?

Also does anyone know if the ultralite barrel made to fit the A5 is a good barrel and is it compatible with the ums apex adaptor?

also, what would give my A5 the best performance?

  • co2+remote coil+expansion chamber
  • co2+remote coil
  • low pressure nitro/HPA tank+ remote coil +low pressure kit
  • High pressure nitro/HPA tank +remote coil

AND SHOULD I GET A PALMER REGULATOR/STABILIZER???

ULs are great barrels and are relatively quiet. You dont need a quiet barrel to be good though. However, if you wish to use the Apex tip, I dont think it will work with the UltraLite.
