    Posted: 30 December 2006 at 1:08am

I recently bought an E-Trigger for my Custom Pro and it didnt have a manual, I put everything the best I could using internet guides but when I try to reassemble it, It has gaps between the grips like something is stuck between it.  I took off the spring thing on my double trigger and dont know what else to do with it. Any information would be great.

First thing you can try is just looking at the gap and see if you can see anything blocking it from shutting. I would check the front trigger sight as that is a part that can cause this. Also check where the safety is.

make sure the micro switch is seated. This caused some trouble with mine. Also make sure you used the sear spring that came with the kit. If you did not get one, like me, call them. otherwise it will not work.

My kit came with a new sear but no new sear spring. So the kit replaces both the sear and sear spring?

There is a nut at the bottom of the grip where the asa is screwed on, one of them tends to not let the receiver halves to come together because of the magnetic pull the e-trigger has. You just need to get a tiny stick to move it while closing the halves.

Just the sear is replaced al long as you aren't upgrading from response trigger. Stock and Electronic use the same soft spring. Response triggers use a stiffer spring.

Per tippmann customer service the Etrigger kit is supposed to come with a softer spring. My gun is a custom pro and they said that is why it would not fire was because they left the spring out of the kit. Should be here any day. Call them if you didnt get one.

I always thought they were the same. I checked the part numbers ans you were right.

I had to gather up my parts seperately since i uped from a stock mech. I never noticed when i was buying all my parts. Maybe that's why I go through batteries so much. lol

When you look inside the receiver their is a knockout for the battery. I don't know why tippmann sends it out like that but they do. I had that problem and when I cut the hole out it came together except a very small crack in front about where the board is. I can live with that.
