Yeah, it's sad. My man Shaun Alexander is out now, but it doesn't matter, the Saints will beat them next week anyway. Rex Grossman is a bum.

shaun had a really good day though. I was hoping the seahawks would have at least attempted a field goal in the 2:00 min. left of the game.

Haha. Sour little Bears fan, eh? Grossman was a cocky, overrated little boy when he played for Florida, now he's just a below average NFL quarterback who is the starter by default. I just say what everyone else says? Hmm, who said what I said? Or maybe you didn't like what I said about the Saints beating the Bears? Look at it like this. New Orleans has a better QB, better O-Line, better RBs, better WRs, and a way better coach. No, their defense isn't as good, but 24 points to the crippled Seahawks isn't exactly amazing. Oh, and Soldier field isn't half of what it used to be. It's just a matter of time before the Bears run into a better team than they are. I don't know if it's the Saints, but I think it is. 31-17 Saints. Any thing else you'd like to say about me? |

Yeah I was sad for about 4 seconds while watching the game. It would have been nice to see my home team be the NFC champs again but then I realized I don't care about football enough.

Sour Bears fan? Whats there to be sour about? A win is a win. I do agree that Grossman was and still is over rated but please, if he doesnt do anything stupid he is still a good QB. Who doesnt say what you say? Going into this week every person, every sports fan, and every news reporter was saying it...Grossman was going to cost them the game. Sure he had one fumble but he still had a better QB rating then Hasselbeck. Take away that one int that the receiver should of had then it gets even better. Offensively the Saints are better but the Bears defense is still better. And most people over look it but look at special teams, the Bears have an advantage there. You cant call Shaun Alexander "your man" and then say Seahawks have a crippled offense. Shaun is still one of the better RB's in the league and that offense was still pretty good. Homefield advantage isnt what it used to be like so it doesnt matter what Solder Field was. And how do you exactly know what it was like and what it is now? Have you actually been there or just pulling this out of no where? Running into better teams happens a lot in sports but thats why you play the game. Look at Indy, no one was thinking they were going to get this far because of that run defense of theres, but look at what they have been able to do. |

Take away that one INT or add the one that the DB(Babineaux?) dropped early. It goes both ways. Grossman didn't screw up enough for the Bears to lose. I don't watch NFL analysis shows, but I do watch Rece, Kirk, and Lee(occasionally Mark May and Lou Holtz). They don't talk about Grossman though. I hated him at Florida, and so I've just continued that. Give the Bears Hasslebeck and they are light years better, possibly challenging the 72? Dolphins. They have a strong defense and I do agree that they have a very good special teams. So do the Saints though. Reggie Bush is explosive and John Carney is a solid mid to low range kicker. How can I call Shaun Alexander "my man"? Hmm... look at him, look at my user name, put two and two together, then viola. He is a Alabama man, and that's why I like him. He's the only reason I go for the Seahawks. Now I know Mark Anderson(hell of a defensive end for the Tide last year) plays for the Bears, but he is only a rookie. I don't really follow NFL teams, but Alabama players on those NFL teams. And having all four of your major players be sidelined at one point in the season, that qualifies you as crippled. D.J. Hackett, Darrell Jackson, Matt Hasslebeck, and Shaun Alexander. Not playing together very much would obviously get the timing and chemistry off. Soldier Field is not as terrifying as it used to be. That is what I meant to type. Seems to me that isn't impossible to win in anymore. I would rather play there than Arrowhead, Lambeau, Gillette, or even the Superdome. |

Ok add that one INT he should of had and then add that touchdown Berrian dropped. It still goes both ways and doesnt really matter since it didnt actually happen and you can take away and give things like this all day. Give the Bears Hassleback and it will make them better but I dont think it will make them light years better. Hassleback will help because he has the experience already but who knows what Grossman will do. You have to remember, he is still really young in this league because of all the injuries he has had. This is his first full season in the NFL. You can call Shaun "your man" as much as you want, but you cant turn around and say his offense is crippled then. By your definition of a crippled unit, the Bears have a crippled defense then. Mike Brown has been out for most of the season and the bears have recently lost Tommie Harris who are both done for the season. Also they lost starter CB Charles Tillman for a few games. Soldier Field never compared to any of those stadiums except the Superdome. But that has changed recently and no one would want to play there. And I agree with you on Mark Anderson. He is a great player. He has had 12 sacks (I think its 12) his rookie season and he doesnt even play every game. |

Me personally, give Rex a few more years, and I think he'll turn into a Steve Young/John Elway, I even told my older brother to Watch this Kid... if you 'really' want to see what Rex is really capable of... go look at his college Records, he isn't some fluke at all... He just needs to be smacked around to see where his mistakes are, once he figures that out I'm sure Rex will win a Superbowl and MVP in a year.
