Currently the best hopper on the marker (as in the fastest) is definetly a: Halo B with a Cheetah board and Boost batteries. In second best is the Halo B with V35 Victory Board and Speedwheel and 9 volt mod which can reach 30 bps no skips. Also in second spot for the best hopper (or a close third place) Is the Draxxus Pulse with RF chip which can also reach 30 bps but does skips sometimes. It all depends on your price range. Once draxxus gets aftermarket boards it will probably run faster than a Halo B. Plus the RF chip is pretty cool and it's easy to clean etc. So I'd go with a Draxxus. Halo B

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

9v mods actually make the marker feed slower, so it wouldn't help. |

yeah 9v mods are a bad idea. they negatively affect performance and 2 9v batteries are more expensive than 6 aa batteries if you buy in bulk. |

he said what is the best hopper for the price, so while halo's and pulses are better they are unnecassary for an ion. The best priced loader is an evolution II w/ y board for $60. It is 1/2 the price of a higher end loader and will feed an ion no problem since an ion feeds 17bps (a loader that feeds faster than that like a halo is simply not needed). |

Yeah.... if you want to continue upgrading your hopper as you upgrade your marker. I higher start-up cost is far superior, fiscally speaking, to paying more over time. What happens when he shells out for a Virtue board and his Eggolution can't keep up with the marker? He's out the cost of the Eggy AND the cost of a new hopper (you have to factor in opportunity cost). For the price, you don't get better than a Halo B. Force-fed high-rof technology that will stay with you no matter what marker or upgrades you purchase. |

I hate eggs. They are slow, and in fact the Y-board has a hard time doing much over 14.

Psshh you look fugly. Seriously. Just pick up a stock Halo B. That way, when you upgrade your Ion, you will have the ability to keep your hopper with it. |
