Semi-auto pistols can be a bit more of a pain than they're worth. And for something that is going to withstand any amount of use without crapping the bed on you, it'll be a lot more than $100. Almost everything out there that is semi-auto is based on the 32* PT Enforcer line which was plagued by problems from the get-go (and still is). About the only thing in production anymore that is a semi that I'd put any kind of trust in is the PMI piranha pistol. It's basically a semi-auto love-child of the piranha and the PGP. But it is above your price specification.

I have a Piranha USP (two actually) and am quite satisfied so far. You can sometimes find good deals on them on e-Bay.

Pirhana USP or Rap4 T68. I've shot both and they've both handled well.

I have an Ariakon ACP.

Works great. Not all that efficient...but 12grams are cheap.
