woulda done it with air but it was like 11pm

works diffrently than the model 98 version, doesnt use spring to push the bolt, instead when the bolt hits something the link arm snaps out of place and snaps back in when it recocks eliminating the side effects of the model 98 version

Could elaborate on what you did differently?

And what side effects the other one had that yours doesn't have?

his uses a spring to push the bolt forwards, increasing the amount of pull required to recock the gun, this decreases efficiency, and stiffens trigger pull. he also states it can reduce fire rate, mine doesnt.
for his you also have to have the spring just right, too strong it will still chop balls, too weak and it wont push the bolt forwards fast enough.

mine functions like the stock gun untill it hits a ball then the link arms snaps out of the bolt, and when it recocks the link arm snaps back into the bolt to resume normal firing

the spring behind my bolt is just a spacer nothing more, i could have used anything, washers, rubber, etc

ill post close ups of the bolt so you can see what i did

How do you get the link arm to snap out of the bolt?

Ya I think you should make an actual mod thread describing what to do. That would be awesome!
