The A-5 is a great woodsball marker.
I would suggest getting one and playing with it. This way you will get an idea of what you want to improve. |

Snake is right. The A-5 is ideal for woodsball and you will know what upgrades you want after playing. A barrel upgrade is good to start with. Other than that, wait until you play with it for a while before getting any more upgrades.

I have to agree, the A5 is an excellent gun...
however just as Hella Cool and Snake said, you definitely want to play with it before you decide what to upgrade, their are so many possibilities out there that you can buy $XXX worth of extras for the gun and find out they dont suit your style if you buy one, play with it stock for a while and then pick upgrades that suit your style... |

Fixed. Jk... the A5 is a great woodsball marker. Its exactly what snake said and they'll last forever with proper care to the cyclone. I just got bored, so I thought I'd massacure someones post. |

I can't see myself playing with a different marker. For a good starting upgrade i would get a 12-14" J&J. I bought a 12" the same time i bought the my A-5.

The A-5 is a money pit.
98c is a better marker, IMO. |

98c has the same upgrades as the A-5, aside from cosmetics. If anything, the 98c has more useful upgrades. And the only thing the A-5 comes with that the 98c doesn't is a hopper, vertical adapter, and push-pin removable body/grip. And at least with the 98c you can choose to either buy a cyclone or an electric hopper which can be used with future markers. And both are blow-back sear trippers so they work the same.
Plus, I have an A-5 and personally know of the money pit it is. |

Your right the A-5 is more expensive than a 98C, but i would rather pay the extra money to have the cyclone feed and the R/T put on by the factory. If you think you want it.
