Just gotta wait 68 more hours until I can polish everything with car-finishing compound and slap it back together (after a good barrel hone that is!).

For all intents and purposes, the bulk of the work is done! Just needs the polish, need to polish the valve-body (back end) and high-polish the trigger plate. Not bad huh?

I decided to go with the polished steel accent on gloss black theme, btw. I was originally going to take it back to stock, but Ken over at Nelson already has a nice show-piece sitting over there. The front blade sight, rear sight base, bolt knob, and trigger will all be highly polished steel with clear-coat. I think the contrast should make it purdy!

Update 2: she holds air and fires! Wewt!

Will take better pics w/ the gf's camera this weekend.

THAT, my good man, is the Magazine and Barrel assembly to a 1975 Nelson 'Nelspot' 007 US Forestry Service-Issued Marking Pistol. In short, the first paintball marker ever built from the ground up to fire a paintball. The only thing earlier was the Crossman/Nelson 707 which was a converted Crossmann pellet pistol.

The lack of a pellet stop forward of the breech drop gives it's age away.

Nope, back in the day when all barrels were pitted pieces of crap, we used this:

4, but I'm selling the pro-lite on e-bay at the moment. I've also got 2 '98's that I'm working on for a friend sitting in the house right now as well. Come mid march, It'll be 4 again as I'm building an e-cocker (e-2 w/ eyes) but have to pick up a new body as I refuse to drill my BM body.
