Anyone know what's up with the Scepter launcher?  There doesn't seem to be a company website anymore (www.scepter-combat.com) and I can only find one dealer selling it.  It's gotten such rave reviews from it's users that I can't imagine the company went under.  Do they have a new site that is eluding me or something?

They went bankrupt.  It was by far the best launcher imo on the paintball market.

It weighed under a pound, didn't have an ugly handle or trigger getting in the way.  Could shoot actual greanade and not just paintballs.  And it wasn't expensive if we compare it to the Tippmann grenade launcher.  It was small too.

I think Tippmann should purchase the copyright and start making it.  I'd pay $100 more than scepter was selling them for if Tippmann started making the same thing.  Just because of Tippmann's great customer service and cause I know they'll be around for a while.

Count me in.  Somebody get on that, eh?

And for those out there with a Scepter already, could you enlighten me...?  If I get one used, can I still make grenades for it or was there something special in the grenade kit that you can't really buy elsewhere?  Also, did the grapeshot effect require a sabot and, if so, can I just use some cardboard or something to make one with?  Lastly, and I know I'm really reaching here, but anyone got a .pdf of the manual?  I'll buy a copy if need be; just PM me.
