This puppy has a female Palmer stabelizer mounted with two scope rings, with a forward facing 9 oz tank connected to an airsoft mock M203 grenade launcher.  The stock, launcher, and carry handle were all taken from an $89 airsoft rifle.  This took some imagination, patience, one day off, and lots of custom engineering.  Soon to come are my egrip with select fire, a front sight that fits this barrel, and offset hopper, and a spotting scope.

I like the marker.
What type of launcher is that?
The Apex seems long but I think you did that so it would be the same length as the launcher.  But the gap between the Apex Tip and the shroud with rails makes the middle look bare.  So I'd say it needs continuation of the shroud type thing you have going on that has the rails.
But an all around beautiful X7 - the best I've seen so far.

You have two threads of the same thing.  Much like double posting it annoys people.

Thanks for the input.  The other thread was just a follow up to my original post from over a month ago.  If it annoys people, they don't have to look at it.

The launcher came from a cheap airsoft gun at Big 5 sporting goods.  It originally launched one spring loaded airsoft pellet.  I tore it apart, and sawed off a few peices in order to accomidate the palmer stabelizer.  The magwell has a hole drilled through its top for the hose to go through.

I agree with you; the space between the foregrip and the apex tip appears too empty.  Given that X7 upgrades are not available yet, I can only use the stock foregrip for now.  It also seems like there's too much space because the barrel lacks an AR 15 front sight; that will change.  I'm also thinking about taking up some of that space with a fake silencer to go over the Apex tip.  It's still a work in progress but I'm glad you like it.

I love the fact that you made a useless launcher into something functional, even if it's only to hide the Palmer.

a q-loader on the right side would make that gun very sweet,, most people would think it was real,, oh and find a 9oz with a flatter bottom if you could,, very cool gun ,, and a great idea good job!!

No problem.  It sounds like you have it all under control.  The AR15 front sight may help.

The fake silencer covering the Apex tip is not a good idea imo because well - how would you adjust the Apex?
Plus it depends what it would look like.  For now I like the blocky/squared off look to the body of the gun and think that a continuation of the rail type you have would look cooler than starting to make the front of the gun round.  -- sure the Apex tip and the launcher are round.  But launcher's are like that and look good like that and well the Apex tip you can't change it, plus it looks fine anyway.  This is just imo.
More roundness on the front of the gun might look fine or it might contrast too much with the body of the gun.  You'll have to see for yourself.  Personally I like the rail that is on the gun/start of barrel and if you got a longer one I think it would look sweet.

Also the barrel.  What type is it?  How long is it?  If you haven't already upgraded it, then it would be an alright idea to do so.  You could get a better barrel and stick the Apex tip on it (with the help of a UMS apex adapter).

The barrel is the same Apex barrel I posted in February, minus the shroud and front sight.  I'm quite happy with it because it's accurate, and anything shorter will make the launcher's length look odd.  I'm just really looking forward to making this X7 fully automatic.
