I was thinking- maybe linking a whole bunch of squadbuster paint grenades up to a piece of fishing line and have them suspended about 8-10 feet up in a tree with the line attacthed to their pins so that it would act like a tripwire and have the grenades come down on whoever pulls it, completely obliterating them? Of course this would have to be used in woddsball/scenario games, but it's an idea.

This is why they have paint mines, also with the squad busters you need to get some pretty good force to get them to go off.

I had no idea there were paint mines. Got any links to websites where they sell them?

Except that they don't explode. They spray.

I searched, and the special ops website has all kinds of stuff, including upgrades to make an A-5 into a true mil-sim paintball sniper rifle, and they have a paint rocket launcher. At just under $400 bucks, I might consider getting it.

Oh God, here it comes. Look, before you put any money in "sniping," I'd rethink the position...

I tend to play more woodsball and scenario games, so sniping has been more practical for me than just running willy-nilly around the woods doing a spray and pray.

yeah despite the one-shot one kill mentality, firing 20 balls, gives you 20X more chance to hit than one

Here comes the sniper talk....

But, you really shouldnt put down like $450 on a gun that "looks" cool, but is extremely heavy, slow, long, has bulging parts and has pointless accessories(sp?) like Barbie.

That's why I chose the Ironhorse- it looks kick ass and it serves as both a sniper rifle and assault rifle. Plus the hook left/right feature on the apex barrel has really begun to afford me some amuzement in the form of annoyed opponents who thought they were safe behind trees.
