   10 Days Out.
Not sure if there's any old school blues/Kenny Wayne Shepherd fans on the forum, but either class of people should check out Shepherd's new CD 10 Days Out. Blends modern SRV-style Texas blues with the more traditional memphis style twelve bar blues of yesteryear. A tad bit on the commercial side, and it does have kind of a greatest hits/ Time Life collection feel to it, but it's a great representation of the music that eventually evolved into Hendrix, Clapton, and the other innovators of modern rock.
It'll be tedious and long winded if you don't like/understand the music, and it's not the greatest backwoods blues album of all time, but as as anyone who listens to this kind of thing knows, it's getting incredibly hard to find new music in this style. It even has (another) Thrill is Gone remkae with BB King and KWS. Plus it comes with a 1337 DVD! So if you're into it, buy it now.
