    Posted: 19 March 2007 at 10:49pm

hello all...looking for a little help.  I broke the neck off the stock gas line for the x&7.  I emailed tippmann about getting a replacement but no answer yet, and I searched the forums and tried searching online, no one is carrying X7 replacment parts. (tippmann part # TA10024 according the the X7 parts list).  Can anyone help where I can find a replacement for this line?  I'm including a pick to help.  Any ideas how I can rig a new hose?

Thanks in advance

You might be able to find that part at the local hardware store (now this is a big maybe) but I would just call Tippmann and they will get you a replacement part right away. Don't e-mail, it's slow, calling them will go much faster.

does tippmann sell parts if you call them?  I was under the assumption you had to get parts from a retailer.

Thanks

Well if it's new then they will just put it under warranty and send it to you free of charge. They sent my an extra screw (don't ask) because I lost it and a new hopper because I broke mine.

No they didn't ask for anything... that hose and fitting is probably worth only $5 maximum, so it no big deal to them. Plus there only way to find out right.

Well i called Tippmann, they guy I spoke to said they would send out a replacement gas line.  Anyone have experience in getting parts shipped from Tippmann?  How long does it usually take?

depending how far you are from the nearest tippmann dealer, i would say no more than 3 days or so. mabye a week at most.

my marker was back in 2 weeks but it made the round trip (to tippmann, and back) when the ACT "exploded".

One thing about Tippmann, they DO stand behind their product.
