Alrighty, first off the only upgrades I have done to this gun so far are an expansion chamber and double trigger. Now here are the problems, the first is that the gun will not cock back all the way (using a full tank of co2). It goes almost all the way and I have to cock it a tiny bit to finish it off, not exactly how I want to play in my next game unless everyone goes Civil War style
. I have replaced most of the o-rings, cleaned it well and oiled it,and even tried putting in a new drive spring. I also tried grinding down the sear a little bit to get it to catch sooner and have less resistance, it didn't work.EDIT: I've also thought about shortening the drive spring to let it go back easier, but I really shouldn't have to resort to that as it should work as is. The 2nd problem is that while I was trying to fix the 1st problem my brother accidentally popped the o-ring and washer out of the valve, and it now leaks even after replacing both. EDIT: The leak is going on and off randomly. Thanks ahead of time! Edited by J-Rod - 26 March 2007 at 9:17pm |

I don't know about your first problem but, did you put the washer in first and then your o-ring?

Yah, I've literally went through a lot of this forum and looked through any troubleshooting and manuals I can find to make sure I put everything together right and not mess anything up. If it comes to it I'm guess I may just have to replace the whole valve, not an exciting prospect but I'd rather do that then send it in to Tippmann.

Why don't you want to send it in to Tippmann?

Sounds to me like your detent might be in backwards :P
if not, sounds like something is jamming. If it doesn't cock all the way, and if the gun were in perfect operating parameters otherwise, the gun should go full auto at least for a few shots (the sear won't prevent the bolt from moving forward after the first shot). |

Well I'm pretty sure that I've got the detent in right, I'll double check on that one (I'm going to punch myself if thats what was wrong
). As far as jamming goes that is possible, I'll check on it and post again.
