I like it. They have decent low end torque so it has nice pick up. I dont pay attention to gas mileage but is sure does a lot better then the V-8 Mustang.
'Tis true about the no negotiation pricing. Dealers can only negotiate with the pricing on used Scions. Usually they will buy them back from the original owners, throw on a lot of upgrades and sell them for more, especially when the demand was much higher than what was available. Nowadays, I see them all over. I waited a month and a half for mine and got it fresh off the boat. Again, I like mine a lot. The rear hatch is a little noisy when closed but I hardly to never notice it because the stereo is so load. I recommend it. Even though they don't haggle the price, I thought it was a decent deal for the extra's they include in the price. One of these days I will throw in a turbo charger, exhaust, and do some custom body and paint inside and out. Mine even lower it a tad. Already threw on tint, vanity plates, and removed the badges. 92 Honda Accord with paint problems and several front bumper imprints on the rear bumper ... not to mention a broken tail-light.

Bone stock '98 4Runner SR5 (I didn't pay for it)
Possibly buying an '88 FJ62, would do a 4" lift and 35's. |
