PALMER stabilizer Question

   Does anyone here know how to disassemble the plamer inline stabilizer. I seen a video that suggests use of a 3/8 socket to remove the gold nut in the center however that video was shot with a male stab and mine inline doesnt have a gold nut but rather a round black nut.
I need help to disassemble this!
