Well i have been reading many post about the "overall" pros and cons of the flatline system for the a5/x7 but im curious to the direct Pros/Cons when it comes to speed ballin with an x7 with a flatline system.

Question: How often in speedball will you need that extra range? I may be wrong, but the impression I've had is that the most benefit you'd get from a flatline in a small-medium size speedball feild is ... well, a little more area denial in the rear. Beyond that, all you'd do is break more paint than neccecary.

i see the flatline as being a disadvantage in the fact your gun has to be completely upright or youll curve balls off target, meaning no angling your gun out of your bunker, or pushing in the bunker to get a better angle to shoot from.

i wouldn't use a flatline for speedball... or an x-7. if ur gonna use it for that, get an e-grip! |

thx for the input i didnt know about the strait shootin when flatlining. so that is a no go. but im not sure why so many people dont like the x7 as a speed baller i run a remote line. the gun is crazy lightand i like the cyclone feed

well have you ever seen somebody use an asa remote line in speedball? probably not. i think thats for a reason. its just easier for you to play speedball without one. at least for me. and second, the x7 is designed to be used for woods and big games. for speedball if you want a high end marker, dont get a semi automatic blowback cocker. get something like a nice electo-penumatic gun; an ion or a dm7. so thats why i wouldnt use an x7 for speedball. |

if u used a flatline for speedball u would be out before u got to a bunker. SO DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!!

no, but you wouldn't be able to hit anything and would get bunkered quite easily. |

Or if you know how to work it, curve your balls onto the target. I see a flatline as perfect for airball bunkers. It's so ridiculously easy to just turn the gun and let the paint hit the guy from the side. A flatline is not just good for its range. |
