Anyone else ever try turning the rear window sprayers around so they spray backwards?  Fun when somebody is tailgating you...

I'm more a fan of spraying bikers with my windshield wipers than other motorists. Especially the ones that act as if they have the right of way on the road over my car. When I ride my bike, I try to stay out of the way and NOT impede traffic, but it seems like about 75% of bike riders where I live don't understand that.

If someone is tailgating you, it means you are driving like a grandma.

People tailgate me, because I do drive like a grandma.

Then again, I have never been pulled over once, which is more that just about all of my friends can say.

15+ over the speed limit is not driving like a grandma.  Not that I've ever done that.

This goes along with a few other things I'm doing in my car, all anti-annoying motorist things.  The first is being done becuase more than a few times I've had someone behind me and they neglect to turn their high-beams off.  So I'm taking a 2 million candle power light, building an aluminum case for it and mounting it facing out my back window (its small, so it doesn't really cause any obstructions, plus the case makes it not look so redneck).

I can spray the front windshield wipers and it carries over the car. It always makes the people behind me back off.

You do realize that by doing all these "anti-annoying-motorists 'things'" you become the annoying-motorist yourself.  Better build in a self-destruct device while you're at it.

No, you let them pass. Then once behind them you kick on your highbeams. If your smart you would have four KC daylighters or some 100 watt offroad lamp on your roof that you could turn on too.

Same here. I'd rather have people think I drive like a grandma than have the police think I'm some punkass teen and get pulled over.
I've only been pulled over once, and it was not because of the way I was driving.

if im driving, theres a good chance im going at least 15 over.  except for some roads near my house where i drive 25-35 over.  i speed almost constantly but have never been pulled over in the nearly 3 years that ive had my license.  im just not retarded and i slow down when im going by cops.

when people tailgate me, i slow down.  first i drop it to the "limit".  then if they are still tailgating me, i go to 5 under, then 10 under, then 15 under if they havent passed me yet.  they think tailgating me will make me go faster, screw em, ill go slower and hug the center to discourage them from passing.

i used to hit my brakes or slow way down when people tailgate. a few weeks ago i thought of doing the whiper thing. there was a black lady in a grand prix that was right on my bumper. her headlights were sitting on my trunk. i waited untill i couldent see her head lights and i sprayed my whiper fluid. she locked up, good thing no one was behind her. i was doing 65/70mph with traffic and there was a string of cars infront of me.

it is my new way of getting tailgaters off my bumper. im also thinking of putting an extra tank with a sprayer on my door or trunk full of rain-x. that crap just smears and leaves a wax like residue.

On my cousin's old Honda Accord, the windshield sprayers sprayed about 20 feet behind the car.
