I'm adding an egrip to my A5. I've decided to go with the APE board but, I wasn't crazy about buying an egrip with WAS only to throw it out to install the APE board. Seemed like a waste of money. So, I called www.tippmannpros.com. They have a grip frame with APE for $119 but, it doesn't come with a trigger or trigger guard. You have to take it off your old mechanical grip. I asked them if they would put together a egrip package with everything ready to go. Ben quoted me an egrip, APE board, noid, trigger and guard. Ready to use on the gun for $149.99. I thought this sounded like a good deal and told him I'd post it just in case anyone else wants to get in on it.
My question, Is this a good price? good deal? I get to keep my old grip usable and get the new grip with APE and save about $20/$30 bucks. Thoughts? Thanks, |

The eGrip trigger is different than the mech so you could not just use your stock trigger. Besides, it'd cost about $25 for an eTrigger group (at least, that's what I paid), so they're only charging you an extra $5.99 and you're paying $25 overall less than buying the WAS eGrip + Rampage, so yes, it is a good deal. Go for it; the APE is worth it. |
