Ok, I'm Getting A APE Rampage Board For My Tippmann 98 Custom Pro A.C.T. And Not Sure What Hopper I Should Get. I Want Your Opinion On This! I Want Something That Is Cheap And Durable, Also Needs To Feed 20+ BPS. I Would Also Like To Know If The eVLution III Is Sound Or Sensitivity Activated And Does It Suck Batteries?

ok well first the questions about the evlution III. it activates when a ball passes by a sensor in the top of the feedneck. also, it isn't too bad on batteries. i've probably shot over 1000 balls through mine so far and its still goin pretty good on the batteries i put in(2 energizer 9 volts).
as for the hopper you should get, i would say the evlution III would work fine, i like mine. are you playing a lot of woodsball? if you are, look at one of the faster ricochet hoppers. i have the ricochet AK and its not the fastest but it works great. some of the better ricochets can feed around 20 bps. I would reccomend going with a Halo B, that way you have the speed you need, and a hopper to keep up with a higher end gun should you decide to purchase one.

Pumpker'd; (V.) When a pump player runs up and shoots you at point blank range because you thought 20bps made you good.

I would say Halo B, but Evolution 3's are so cheap ($60) and cost 2/3 to less than 1/2 the cost of loaders like the Halo B (and up).

Well I looked at the Halo B and its so expensive and im sticking with my Tippmann 98 Custom Pro just making it kinda a speedball gun or a fast woodsball gun when I need it. I play more woodsball, but a lot of fields around me have speedball so I'm getting into that too. It will be able to shot 25 BPS so I think that covers the speedball part. Please continue to post feedback and opinions. P.S. I'm Kinda Leaning For A eVLution III Z-Board Right Now! |

What Is The Difference Between The eVLution II And eVLution III its seems to be just the difference in BPS. The eVLution III Being Faster At 23 BPS And The eVLution II At 19 BPS.

The Richochet Would Not Be Able To Keep Up With My BPS With APE Board.

a ricochet apache would. i doubt you can shoot 20+ bps in semi mode anyways... what do you need this hopper for? are you going to be shooting full auto at the highest bps setting possible??? i don't understand. just because your board can do 25bps , doesnt mean you need it to. i don't see any reason why you need to empty your hopper in 8 seconds...
the difference between the evos are the board in them. the EvoII comes with a Y board which has an adjustable bps knob, and the evo 3 come wth a Z board which can go slightly faster but doesnt have the adjuster knob. but you can get a zboard for an egg2. |

Ok, My Field That I Play At Alows Ramping Mode Up To 15 BPS, And Thats What I'll Set It To. The Other Thing Is Though The eVLution Is A Lot Cheaper Than A Faster Ricochet. I'm Only 15, Money Doesn't Grow On Trees For Me. So Its Between A eVLution II, A eVLution III, And A Richochet Apache 2KX. Which Should I Get? I'm Still Leaning Towards A eVLution III, Beacuse If Its Cheaper Price Tag And Faster BPS Then The Others.
