Look before you vote im tryin to decide between keeping my a-5 with collapsibe,jandj,and remote line or smart part ion with all american, drop forward, halo b etc. Keep A-5 or buy a new ion and those ups???????? Look above before you vote |

So this isin't a trade? If youhave an A5 allready, and are looking to upgrade from that, I would spend a bit more for a more high end gun. |

^Dont be jealous because you dont own a cocker...if that's all you have to throw, then dang...that's weak. As for the gun, if you want a faster and more versatile gun, go for the Ion. |

Mainly speed or woods? What do you want out of your gun? Ion has the speed, weight, (better)efficiency, etc. |

im lookin woods but my a-5 is always breaking and the ball always corskrews evn though i have a j+j!i shot my friends ion with all american and it was really acurate and went the distance i need. what i want is a little speed accuracy distance consistancy happiness lol reliability not so much efficiency because my daddy owns a pb store like walking distance from my house and i get filled for fre so i dont care about wastin air

If your dad owns the store, take a demo ion off the wall,(if its that type of setup), and use it, see if you like it, then clean it really well, and put it back. Nice and simple. |

Tippmann A-5 is great for Woods ball. If you have it more then 280FPS then you will get what you were talking about. If anything you can just get a better barrel and what not. Stick with the A-5 I say.

I'd say stick with the A-5 for woodsball, but get the Ion for speedball. I'm sure you would miss you A-5 if you got rid of it.

if your goin for woods take the a-5 my friend tryed playing woods wih a ion and it got messed up becasue of mud/watter splaing into it(even though that shount skrew it up) and then he got mad cause of a scratch on it!

I'd have to add my 2 pence worth for the A5. I've got an A5 and bought an Ion. used it once and sold.
Keep the A5, get a flatline, adda response trigger/e grip and you get firepower and range/accuracy. |
